A pronghorn doe resting beside a big sagebrush on Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge in Wyoming, photographed at the end of a hard winter. Pronghorn are the fastest land animals in the Western Hemisphere.

- Pronghorn can hit about 55 miles an hour (nearly 90 km/h) and, unlike a cheetah, can hold high speed for miles. source ↗
